Efficient recovery of nadir reflections will require larger antenna apertures. The low cost of the GNSS sensor and host satellite may one day lead to a "cellular" array of hundreds of sensors continuously monitoring the entire earth — atmosphere and surface — by GNSS occultation and reflection. The long-term goal of CICERO is to capture a continuous "radio hologram" of the Earth with a large array of tiny, simple, orbiting cells, revealing an extraordinary range of Earth's properties to better monitor the evolving state of our fragile environment.  This concludes our GPS-RO overview.  Thank you for visiting.
